Recently I ordered a few items of clothing online for the first time from a site called Superbalist.com . I've always been hesitant in the past to order clothing online because we all know horror stories about people who received something that looked nothing like the actual product description. This combined with the fact that I can never find any pants in my size and shoes are difficult to shop for made me excited to see what would happen - spoiler alert - everything turned out really well! Here's what I ordered:
Cape by Therapy Shoes (R279)
Eden Bermuda Shorts by Vero Moda (R139)
I'm going to share a little something with you: I hate short shorts. Not on other people, but on myself. I have always had very slim legs and I am not at all overweight I have just always felt very uncomfortable with the constant near-the-crotch-adjustments and (what feels like) spilling legs when I sit down. I have tried to find longer shorts, but when they're tight they just make me look like a conservative 30-year-old mom. I found these really cute Bermuda shorts and they look AMAZING with crop tops and bralettes in the summer! They're airy enough for the hot days while still keeping m covered. The only problem I had with these is the fact that I had to spend quite a bit of time ironing them - the company packaged them badly, so they creased, and the fabric is naturally prone to creasing. I'll just have to take extra care when hanging them, but otherwise, they fit great and look awesome.
Kylie Funnelneck Sweater by Vero Moda (R399)
721 high rise skinny by Levi's (R679)
I haven't had plain skinny jeans in my closet for about 2-3 years now - only white and light blue ripped ones... I finally decided to invest in a really good quality pair from Levi's, and I've wanted to treat myself to a pair of these denims for a long time. They're very comfortable, fit perfectly (check the size guide as Levi's has designed their own which may confuse you) and they make my butt look really good, as Levi's promise to do. If you are considering a pair from this brand, I suggest you invest now because they're on sale (the original price was R799), plus you will get R150 off your first in-app purchase with superbalist, so you could technically take these home for only R529!
Hope you all enjoyed the post - I'll be uploading another one soon about how to get the best deal while shopping online; plus extra tips and advice to make sure you always chose the best product fits without trying it on.
