'Tis (almost) the season to be jolly, and I have reached my goal of not spending any money (unless absolutely essential) from the beginning of September until the end of November. So of course I decided to do a little shop to reward myself, but I promised myself that I would only buy things that I've been wanting for a while- and that I would not make impulse purchases. So here's what I decided to splurge on:
Next I bought an ivory blouse ( I was actually looking for a white one, but close enough). It has 3 quarter sleeves, which makes it a seasonally transitional piece and I liked the unusual cut of the neckline, as I'm not a fan of traditional collars. The fabric feels very soft and light against the skin and is quite sheer. I like the minimalism of the design and it's quite a long shirt, so I can let it hand over ripped jeans for a relaxed fit or I can tuck it into high waisted pants or a skirt for a more formal look.
Christmas is my favourite season of the year, so every year I treat myself to a small limited edition flavoured or scented something to remind me of christmas and I tend to hoard and savour the special editions because it's the only time of year they are on sale! This year I bought the Glazed apple hand cream and body butter. My mom also bought a whole bunch of things so I actually got the hand cream free and a discount on the body butter, because until the 24th of December you can buy ANY 3 items and the cheapest is free, unfortunately this excludes gift pack but you can always create your own gift pack yourself and save. The body butter and cream is the best christmas edition anything I have ever come across- seriously get yourself some of this stuff, it's amazing!
Hope you all enjoyed hearing about the shopping haul, and maybe it will give you a few ideas on what you can list for your next trip to the mall.
Until next time
