The cold weather has really hit the Southern Hemisphere and winter is here to stay for a while! Here are a few essential pieces that you will need to survive the freezing wind and buckets of rain this season, while still looking like you're on top of your style game:
A good pair of boots:
All too often, we assume the only good boots are leather ones. Luckily this is definitly not the case and there are many other materials that are just as durable, like PU leather and other types of good quality plastic derived materials. That way, you can keep your shoes for longer while remaining environmentally friendly. When you're done with the shoes, donate them or even recycle them!
A versatile, thick and warm knit:
Layers are so important in winter and they look super cute, too. Buy a thick, warm knit that you can use as a jumper under your winter coat or just over a thin cami on the warmer winter days. The best thing about these thick knits is that they're incredibly comfortable and look great with anything.
Neutral, dark skinny jeans:
You should have at least one pair of classic, neutral jeans in your closet - rip free to keep your legs warm. They shouldn't be too light or too blue, so that you can be sure they'll go with everything in winter as you'll want to wear them a lot durin the colder periods.
A warm knit scarf and matching beanie:
Extra warmth for the freezing days, and why not make sure that your accessories always go together? Beanies and scarves are the best for keeping warm during those nasty cold fronts.
A big bag to hold everything in:
You'll be wearing a lot of layers and if you are going out, chances are at some point you'll be taking off your beanie, jumper or scarf in a heated room. A neutral, large bag is perfect to crry all your accessories in while still looking super stylish alll winter long.
I hope everyone enjoyed the post, I will be uploading more articles within the week!
